Notes on Activities

The activities in these Net Notes are based on a clear three-part process of enquiry:

• Key Questions: three per programme.
• Investigation: of the main issues attending these questions.
• Concluding Activity: one per question, designed to help students reach their own conclusions based on the evidence.

Learning Outcomes

In addressing the key questions, students will:

• Use the narrative and primary material provided to investigate the factors listed.
• Evaluate the significance of each factor and the relationship of the different factors to one another.
• Produce reasoned summaries, either orally or in writing, based on the evidence provided and additional research.
