Curriculum Relevance

The series covers many of the skills required in the teaching of MFLs throughout the UK:

• Listening for personal interest and enjoyment as well as for information.
• Developing understanding and skills through a range of language activities including games.
• Listening attentively and listening for gist and detail.
• Following instructions and directions.
• Using context and other clues to interpret meaning.
• Working with authentic materials including television in contexts which are within pupils' experience and which engage their interest.

The series is aimed at pupils at KS3 (Scottish level E) but can be used in a variety of other contexts.
