Programme Aims
This programme aims to:
- challenge the stigma associated with mental illness
- encourage young people talk more openly about their feelings
and emotions
- describe some of the signs of a mental health problem
- suggest some ways that sufferers can help themselves
- reveal how friends can provide support
- describe some of the factors that can lead to mental
distress
- link mental illness to common emotions, such as fear and
sadness, that everyone understands.
