Programme 17: Atomic Structure

Aims

The programme aims to provide information and resources in the following curriculum areas:

• the structure of the atom, including the proton, electron and neutron
• the meaning and use of the terms atomic number and mass number
• the arrangement of electrons in the first 18 atoms.
