Aims

The programme may be used to provide opportunities for:

• speaking and listening activities
• writing to entertain, using language appropriate to purpose and audience
• reflecting on the presentation of ideas, the motivation and behaviour of characters, the development of plot and the overall impact of a moving-image text
• appreciating how the structure and organisation of screenplays contribute to dramatic effect
• using ICT as appropriate
