Aims

• To give pupils an insight into the experience of deaf people by exploring everyday situations to find out how communications work, both within deaf society and between deaf and hearing people.
• To facilitate discussion on:
  • reasons for and impact of stereotypical and discriminatory behaviour
  • ways in which people can help each other to resolve conflict
• To illustrate the use of different media to convey a message.
