Interview

  • How did you become an artist?
    I always painted as a child and then went to college.
  • What sort of things do you think about when you are working on a picture?
    How the painting is working, and daydream.
  • How long do you work for each day?
    Six hours a day, five days a week.
  • What materials do you like working with best?
    Oil paints.
  • Where do you get ideas and inspiration from?
    I take items from surroundings and streets. Also on a deeper level of consciousness triggered by the process of painting which I don't altogether understand.
  • What is your favourite colour?
    Blue.
  • Is there a piece of work that you would really like to do in the future?
    Lots of paintings till I drop!
