What Are You Looking For?

Programme Outline

This programme focuses on young people's perceptions of what is important in a relationship. Five girls in an informal gathering state what they think is important and what they think boys are looking for in a relationship. We hear the boys' views in a series of sound bites and the girls discuss these in a lively way.

The views on attraction are wide ranging and include issues to do with pressure to have a partner and the tensions which arise from being gay or bi-sexual. This frank and open forum is a suitable trigger for addressing the changing nature of relationships as young people become more aware of their sexuality.
