Programme 21: Food and Digestion Answers to Activity Sheet 2
Digestion Taboo This simple game can be used to review important scientific vocabulary. A group of three or four pupils has a set of 20 cards. Pupils take turns to choose a card and answer questions about the vocabulary highlighted in bold. They must explain the terms on the card without using the taboo words listed on the card. The other group members can only guess what the term is. To introduce an element of competition a time limit can be set for each term. Each word correctly guessed earns a point for the individual or for the group.
