What a Waste Aims
- To make pupils aware of the potential, in the school and in the home, for the more efficient use of energy.
- To make pupils aware of the problems caused by traffic congestion and pollution from vehicles, and how these may be overcome.
- To make pupils aware of the problems of waste disposal - and how recycling rubbish can help to alleviate these problems.
- To encourage pupils to take personal responsibility for their 'ecological footprint', and show them how they can become more responsible citizens in terms of waste disposal, energy use and use of transport.
