Programme Outline

The programme illustrates the properties of solids, liquids and gases, and shows changes from one state to another. It explains this with the theory that everything is made up of particles. It begins with a teenager’s video diary of some everyday solids, liquids and gases that are easy to spot at a theme park. The rest of the programme includes 3-D graphics that illustrate the changing arrangement of particles, and a comical cartoon taking a closer look at ice
