Yorkshire

Aims

This programme uses the example of the Yorkshire Dales to show how limestone produces its own unique landscape. It will help pupils:

  • recognise physical features associated with limestone
  • understand the land-use patterns found in the Dales
  • appreciate the conflicting interests of different people living and working in this National Park
