Programme 2: Sexual Health

Introduction

Personal stories and testimonials demonstrate the importance of being aware of sexually transmitted infections (STIs) and knowing how to prevent such infections. Condoms remain an effective barrier against most STIs. However, at the first sign of anything abnormal, the key message is to see a doctor as quickly as possible.

Teachers should familiarise themselves with any sex education guidelines which might apply when working with the material in this programme.
