Learning Outcomes

Pupils will have explored:

• issues about self respect, mutual respect and respect for each other’s bodies
• the use of assertiveness and other communication skills in relationships
• responsibilities in relation to self, others, sexual and mental health, and the law
• ways of reducing risk in relationships, including unwanted pregnancy and STIs
• how to access, and act on, appropriate help and advice on sexual matters
