Do Girls Want Love and Boys Want Sex?

Aims

Pupils should be able to:

• acknowledge that love has many definitions;
• understand the importance of a responsible attitude to sexual behaviour;
• accept an individual's right to choose not to be sexually active;
• recognise the role of moral and cultural values in decision making;
• understand the need to respect the wishes of other people;
• identify ways in which a relationship can be ended.
