Programme Outline

The basic nature of why elements combine is explored using a familiar television show format. Some of the properties of both metals and non-metals are shown in action and the relationship between the electronic structure of elements and their capacity to react are clearly demonstrated. (It would be helpful if you have a copy of the periodic table to refer to during the programme. You might also need to revise atomic structure in order to complete some of the written tasks).
