Programme Outline

The effects of erosion are dramatically demonstrated by this film of the beautiful Grand Canyon in north-western Arizona. The Canyon provides a stunning historical record of the region within its exposed rocks. The processes that produced its remarkable architecture are discussed and demonstrated using computer graphics. This programme, along with Programme 1: Rock Sculptures, provides an extensive background for the earth science sections of GCSE / Standard Grade syllabuses and the National Curriculum.
