Electricity Aims
Pupils should gain an understanding of: - How to measure current in series and parallel circuits;
 - Current in a series circuit depending on the number of cells and the number and nature of other components;
- Current not being used up by components in circuits;
- Current is a flow of charge;
- Current is a body of moving charged particles;
- The fact that an electric current can carry energy;
- Your body can complete an electric circuit;
- The idea that if you put two lamps in a series circuit the current is shared between them;
- Parallel circuits allow you to get enough electric current to supply several lamps from one battery.
