Drugsline is an independent drugs crisis, information and support charity based in London. It provides free and confidential information and support for people with drugs- and alcohol-related issues, their families and friends. This is a clear, easy to navigate site with an Education section where you can look into outreach work for your school. It also includes detailed information on all of the drugs featured in the series, with photographs of associated paraphernalia.

Adfam is the leading national organisation working with and for families affected by drugs and alcohol. They run and support a wide range of community-based projects supporting families living with drug use. A current piece of work is around supporting grandparents as carers. The site has information on local support groups, help for families and an extensive list of useful organisations.

Drinkaware is an independent charity aiming to change the UK's drinking habits for the better. They promote responsible drinking and find innovative ways to challenge the national drinking culture and tackle alcohol misuse.
