Students at Manchester Metropolitan School of Art are studying life drawing and are assigned the task of doing a self-portrait – of their genitals! Other young people talk about the issue of penis size.

06:51 – 10:50

The discussion moves from size to shape, with reassurance from Dr Allan Pacey that all shapes and sizes are normal. The issue of premature ejaculation is discussed and some tips given to help prevent it.

10:51 – 17:40

The female students talk about their experience of drawing their genitals and that the fact that images in magazines are unrealistic. Kim and Lucy visit a salon for a bikini wax.

17:41 – 22:32

Dr Jane Gilbert talks about girls' concerns – hair removal, discharge and smell. The importance of good personal hygiene for both boys and girls is highlighted.

22:33 – 24:55

The students' artwork goes on public display. There is some final discussion about genitals being a fact of life – everyone has them, they are unique to the individual, and that's fine.
