Teens on Trial

KAY - FIGHTING

Sixteen-year-old Kay from South East London regularly gets drunk and behaves aggressively towards other teenagers and, when she can, she starts a fight. By day Kay has a good job as a shop assistant, which she excels at. Kay, along with her friend Chantelle, are known as 'The Street Rats'. They are renowned in the area for their extreme behaviour and Kay loves to brag about it. She has no qualms about whom she fights with and despite being petite she thinks nothing of attacking older, larger males. Kay has not been in trouble with the police or injured anyone seriously, however, she openly admits that she enjoys inflicting pain and likes to draw blood. Kay is beginning to realise that she may jeopardise her job and future if she carries on fighting. She needs to start modifying her behaviour before she gets into real trouble or someone gets seriously hurt.
