Make Me A Grown Up

MAKE ME A GROWN UP

PROGRAMME 5: CAMERON

PROGRAMME OUTLINE

00:00 – 04:36

Introduces Cameron and the mentors. Cameron talks about his problems. A street exercise confirms his analysis and demonstrates the powerful effect that his appearance, manner and excruciating shyness have on strangers – they are intimidated and few people are prepared to speak to him.

04:37 – 11:53

First psychological exercise. Fear gets the better of Cameron and he fails to show. Lisa gives him a second chance. Working as a waiter helps him to loosen up, smile, make eye contact and engage in small talk with strangers.

11:54 – 14:16

Second psychological exercise. In a monologue master class, Cameron has to talk for one minute about a series of photographs. He experiments with energetic body movements, uses facial expression to convey his feelings and successfully strings a series of sentences together.

14:17 – 17:34

Makeover. Gok replaces Cameron's tracksuits with clothes that reflect his personality and make him more approachable. Cameron is unrecognisable.

17:35 – 23:00

Final challenge. At a casting session, Cameron is selected as one of three models. He comes across as confident, well prepared and enthusiastic.

23.01 – 28:06

Reflection. Cameron is happy to stand out from the crowd, has a good portfolio and is actively seeking work as a model.
