Introduces Sarah and the mentors. Sarah is 17 but a vox pop reveals that her appearance and behaviour give people the impression that she is 13.
06:16 – 10:47
First psychological exercise. Sarah works on a market stall. She practises speaking assertively and projecting her personality.
10:48 – 12:42
Homework. Sarah produces a personal bill of rights and reads it aloud in public. She finds it thought provoking and learns that if she wants something she must push herself to get it.
12:43 – 15:19
Makeover. Hannah helps Sarah to select a grown-up wardrobe to replace her childish cartoon-filled one.
15:20 – 17:45
Second psychological exercise. Sarah has a crash course in how to appear confident and assertive on the outside even when quaking with fear on the inside.
17:46 – 22:19
Final challenge. Sarah successfully helps to host a large speed-dating event for people in their 20s. Most people think that she is 17. One person thinks that she is 23.
22.20 – 24:18
Reflection. Sarah is more confident. She loves her new image and clothes. She regularly contacts and goes out with her friends. She believes in herself and feels that she can achieve anything if she puts her mind to it.
