PROGRAMME 5 – JAKK

Jakk is 17 and gay. He hasn't told his mum yet, although his friends are sure his mum will have realised by now. He is a virgin and all his mates are teasing him about this. He wants his first time to be romantic and special, and he doesn't want to just to have sex for the sake of losing his virginity. He is also fussy about who he sleeps with: it has to be somebody his own age. His friends record their advice on camera.

PROGRAMME AIMS

• To discuss different opinions about when and how to lose your virginity
• To stress that you need to be true to yourself about your sexuality
• To encourage students to discuss their feelings with their friends, but not feel under pressure to do the same as them
• To explore what it feels like to be young and gay and to come out.
