Kirstie and her friends tell why they feel uncomfortable about the idea of masturbation, and Jane gives some background as to why it is less culturally acceptable for girls to admit to it. Jen and Tallie present their weekly radio show offering sexual health advice to young people.

We meet Dr Allan Pacey, an expert in the male reproductive system. Friends Steve and Lee take part in an experiment to learn if there are any drawbacks to not masturbating – with interesting results.

Alice and Toni visit the sex shop for a special gift for their friend Amy's 18th birthday, and present it to her at a celebratory night out. Having beaten Steve in the challenge, Lee has a night out and wonders how he will cope with female attention.

Lee finally gives in. He draws some important conclusions, and we hear the final thoughts on masturbation from the rest of the young people.
