Hardeep Does...

Hardeep Does Religion

Hardeep wears a big turban, but he's not religious. In Hardeep Does Religion join him in his crusade against organised religion, except without the big swords, armour and stuff. Traditional religion still holds massive sway worldwide and Hardeep wants to know if their principles are still relevant today. Can't we be nice, lovely moral people without religion?

He has a heated debate with some young people who follow their faiths to the letter, gets funky at a groovy Christian festival, finds out why an openly gay man refuses to give up his Muslim faith in spite of the abuse he gets, joins in a pagan ritual and seeks to recruit people to his new religion, 'Hardeepism', which preaches only kindness towards others, care for the weak and hungry, no worship of pop idols and – the catch – no afterlife.
