Kevin and Stephen live with Kevin's family but are looking for their own flat. Both are open about being gay.

University is a chance to explore your sexuality and meet other gay people. Holly lives in gay-friendly Brighton and wants to stay forever. Jen and Bex are in love but need to spend time apart so that they can study.

Justin sees David for the first time since they broke up.

10:33 – 15:49

Stephen's parents were homophobic and made him feel depressed, but he feels part of Kevin's family now. Justin's homophobic neighbours used to threaten him, but his police liaison officer has helped him.

15:50 – 20:44

Bex and Jen are in love and it feels wonderful. In contrast, Holly felt her first relationship should have come naturally, but it didn't at first. Kevin is Stephen's first love, and they decide to go for a flat.

20:45 – 23:56

Justin moves out because he doesn't like the flat without David. The council discharges duty. Meanwhile, Jen and Bex leave university. It's been the best year of their lives.
