- all the elements which affect doing good make-up
- the many creative influences/references

Activity (Class or group)
- Make lists on how a person's looks affect your perception of them. Tear sheets from magazines to represent these different perceptions, matching the look to the response or reaction it elicits. Discuss how people respond to colour, to light, to texture. Use examples again found in magazines.
