Rufus Hound presents a show about the age-old technique of selective breeding and the space-aged technology of transgenics. Geneticist Dr Chris Smith is on hand with a demonstration of transgenics in front of the live studio audience. Meanwhile, Giles Corin is on the farm meeting the Arnold Schwarzenegger of cattle, and Olivia Judson is introduced to some rabbits that glow in the dark.
