PROGRAMME 3: BARNEY

Fifteen-year-old Barney lives with his mum, dad and 18-year-old sister in Eltham, South London. After a succession of school expulsions, Barney is now at Moatbridge School, along with other problem teens. He has difficulty controlling his anger and realises he could end up killing someone. Dr Rachel Andrew, a clinical psychologist, will work with him for two weeks.

PROGRAMME AIMS

To raise awareness of:

  • other people's experiences and points of view
  • how others see them and how their words and actions can lead to misunderstanding and relationship breakdown
  • the need to change.
