CURRICULUM
PROGRAMME AIMS
To raise awareness of:
- the dangers of alcohol abuse
- the risks involved in drinking too much
- the need to take a balanced look at alcohol and enjoyment.
CURRICULUM RELEVANCE
Scotland
The programme is relevant for National Qualifications in Religious, Moral and Philosophical Studies and Personal and Social Education (all levels).
It can also be used in recent initiatives in English (levels c-f), environmental studies (levels c-f) and health education (levels c-f). Teachers should check current guidelines.
England and Wales
This programme is relevant for examined courses in Citizenship, Sociology, Media Studies, General Studies and aspects of RE. It is also useful for the following aspects of PSHE, Citizenship and English in the National Curriculum:
