We meet the teenagers and learn of their aspirations for a gay prom. Some context is given for the event, such as the ways in which the UK is now more gay-friendly than it used to be.

05:21 – 12:57

The five travel to San Francisco and meet members of Project Eden, who are planning their 12th gay prom. We hear about Zac and Faye's difficult experiences of coming out at school.

12:58 – 19:29

The five attend their first gay prom. They agree afterwards how great it was to be able to be themselves without the worry of being judged.

19:30 – 23:44

Back in the UK, the teens are each given a role to play within the enterprise. We hear about Arfur's experiences, which are more positive than Zac and Faye's, but not without their problems.

23:45 – 30:15

Arfur and David attend a meeting with a potential sponsor, which doesn't go well. Confidence falls and tensions rise. Sam tells of the anxiety she felt about being accepted.

30:16 – 35:58

The committee receives training from Young Enterprise and presents Ivan with a business plan. David talks about his time at boarding school, when he felt isolated and close to breakdown.

35:59 – 41:26

The group looks at potential venues and a decision is taken. Ivan builds David's confidence for a return meeting with Outlet. This proves extremely successful.

41:27 – 48:30

Ivan arranges a meeting with a finance firm. The group struggles to work together effectively and misses a vital chance to secure funding. Will they sort themselves out in time to turn things around?
