BACKGROUND

This first series of Battlefront features five of the 20 campaigners:

Alex Rose, aged 19, is from London. He wants to stop gun and knife crime.

Zander Percival, aged 17, is from Hertfordshire. He is campaigning to ban smoking in cars that carry young children.

Aimee Nathan, aged 17, is from London. She wants to save the planet by persuading us to use our own coffee cups when getting a take-away.

Rachel Phipps, aged 15, is from Kent. She wants to stop the pressure on young people to be super-slim.

Manpreet Darroch, aged 19, is from Birmingham. He is campaigning to stop people wearing ear plugs whilst crossing the road.
