want to do more
Today 1.4 billion people across the world live without clean water and 2.3 billion people lack adequate sanitation - that means somewhere they can go to the toilet in safety - where the human waste is treated before being released into the environment.

450 million people in 29 countries face water shortages.

In the next 50 years, this will rise to 2.5 billion people in 55 countries.

ON THESE PAGES YOU WILL FIND SOME PROJECTS YOU CAN DO TO FIND OUT MORE ABOUT WATER AND TO LIVE IN A MORE SUSTAINABLE WAY.

Maybe you can't get to some far-away countries. But you can save water yourself - and you can get your whole school to do the same.

Here are four projects YOU can do:

Clean water is precious - A project for all the family.

Dirty water kills.

We could use less - Washroom watch!

River or stream project.
