The Number Crew
The Number Crew is an exciting new multimedia set of resources
designed to meet the numeracy needs of 5 to 7 year olds.
The resources consist of television programmes, activity books,
teacher guides, videos, CD-ROMs, and an Internet site, all created
with the help of teachers and advisors, in line with the current
mathematics curriculum needs.
How will
The Number Crew help parents and carers?
The Number Crew makes maths learning and teaching fun and
enjoyable. It encourages an interactive shared learning experience
of maths. Together the adults and children can be involved with the
mathematics appropriate for the children and actively participate
in entertaining activities and games.
The Number Crew can also help parents and carers stay informed
about the mathematics teaching in schools and help them monitor
their children's progress.
How will

The Number Crew promotes interactive learning - children can learn
maths using television, videos, books and CD-ROMs.
It's an exciting and interesting way to learn and practise maths.
It features lovable and entertaining puppet characters that the
children can identify with. The Number Crew gives children a shared
unforgettable learning experience of mathematics with other
children and adults.
