Showing your students what textbooks can only describe

Students are at the forefront of the digital revolution. Everyday, they are downloading videos on iPods, playing video games, reading online news, contributing to networking sites, writing blogs – so why shouldn’t the classroom be as stimulating an environment as the home?

Clipbank, our video-packed service, is a special resource that students aged 11 to 16 – and their teachers – will enjoy using. We put clips into a learning context with their background, key words and transcripts just a click away. It’s a learning library in a format familiar to students, a perfect way to inspire learning.

Clipbank videos introduce concepts and reinforce learning objectives. Appealing to a variety of learning styles, Clipbank provides the visual and audio stimulation that
students really respond to.

Clipbank represents the best digital television clips taken from over 1,000 hours of
award-winning educational television. Currently with over 2,000 carefully selected and tagged clips covering eight subject areas, this continuously growing service offers breadth and depth of subject coverage that really makes the difference in bringing concepts to life.
