About this unit
In Modules 1 and 2, we looked at the planning and design for a new product, techniques for selecting materials and forming them to the required shape, and components we can use when we come to assemble our product.
In this module, we look at integrating the many components that go into a typical product, to make something that is greater than the sum of its parts, which can perform some function that the components taken individually could not.
