At Channel 4 Learning we appreciate that development is an important part of everybody's professional and personal lives. Therefore we offer a number of different support services to ensure our customers are trained and provided with all the tools they need to develop their skills using our products.
As well as all the rich content that makes up Clipbank, there are 3 training sessions per year available to every school that has a subscription. Our Clipbank community of teachers and trainers combine a wealth of knowledge and experience which we think is well worth sharing.
Channel 4 Clipbank has teamed up with Teachers TV, a free TV and web service specifically for teaching professionals, school leaders and everyone working in education, to offer some of the best Teachers TV videos and resources directly to schools through Clipbank.
Through this partnership, we are also planning to extend the popular pupil-focused 'News Bites' feature to inform teachers. In November '08, 'Teacher News Bites' will be available on Clipbank, building on Teachers TV's recently launched new-look news programme. 'Teacher News Bites' will be condensed versions of whole Teachers TV programmes and will include news of special interest to teachers as well as 'feature' stories.
