Q. (test) When would I use an exclamation mark(!)?
Exclamation marks are usually used in order to indicate strong feeling. They are often used to show tense or dramatic situations. For example if someone was drowning they may well shout "Help me!" All the sentences that you write will need to end with either a full stop or a question, but remember if you want to show strong feeling e.g. "Stop!" or "Watch out!" then use an exclamation mark.
Hope this has helped.
